Strategic Leadership
Spearhead, steward, and manage progress of Virginia’s plan to sustain, strengthen and grow home visiting as a vital early childhood prevention and intervention strategy in communities.
Innovation
Support system innovation, continuous quality improvement, professional development, coaching and coordination across Virginia’s home visiting programs to ensure a qualified workforce and high-quality evidencebased and/or best practice services.
Demonstrate Impact
Collect, analyze and report statewide community needs and home visiting data to inform policy, resource allocation and statewide system planning.
Collaboration
Convene home visiting models, state funders and cross-sector early childhood stakeholders and those with lived experience to facilitate alignment, capacity, and collective impact in communities.
Advocate
Educate stakeholders on home visiting services, family support professional careers, home visiting family and community impact, and Virginia’s plan to strengthen and grow home visiting.

Our History
Since 2006, home visiting professionals and state leaders have collaborated to enhance home visiting and advance sustainable growth. Through consistent and strong performance, strategic partnerships and an unwavering commitment to strengthen families, Virginia’s home visiting programs have become trusted partners in communities throughout the Commonwealth.
