Strengthening Home Visiting with Strong Partnerships
Early Impact Virginia is dedicated to strengthening the foundation of maternal, infant, and early childhood home visiting services by focusing on the people who make this work possible. With a deep commitment to professional growth and well-being, we lead workforce development efforts with a comprehensive approach to ensure home visitors and supervisors are qualified, supported, and prepared to meet the needs of families across the Commonwealth.

The Alliance
Established in 2006 as an informal partnership, the Alliance has grown into a powerful network that brings together representatives from Virginia’s eight statewide home visiting models, early childhood experts, community leaders, and funders. This collaborative effort works hand-in-hand with Early Impact Virginia (EIV) to support the workforce, align statewide strategies, and ensure that families receive high-quality services tailored to their unique needs.

MIECHV
Since 2012, the EIV Alliance has served as the Advisory Board for Virginia’s MIECHV program. In a testament to the state’s commitment to efficiency and equitable access, VDH and EIV established a unique co-leadership model to oversee the program.
Virginia stands out as the only state where MIECHV operates under this collaborative public-private framework, in order to build a more comprehensive system for families across the Commonwealth.
